A GOOD FALL DAY HERE
Coffee with the lake out the window, a paddle or a trip to Kalahari, dinner together at one big table, then the fire pit and the hot tub while the kids race to the arcade. Everyone has a bed, the grown-ups get the poker table, and nobody spends the evening squeezed onto one couch.

GUEST ACCESS
The whole house, deck, backyard and pool deck are yours. Self check-in with a smart lock from 4 PM. Park in the driveway only, room for up to 13 vehicles. Community amenities (beach, lakes, indoor pool, courts) need an Emerald Lakes amenity pass for guests over 16.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
You're on the water inside Emerald Lakes, a lake community in Long Pond with a private beach, a fishing and boating lake, an indoor pool, tennis and volleyball courts and a playground, all with an amenity pass. It's a wooded, quiet setting with community quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM. For a fall day out: Kalahari Indoor Waterpark about 4.7 miles away, Great Wolf Lodge about 7.6 miles, Mount Airy Casino Resort and its golf course about 7.8 miles, and Pocono Raceway about 8.1 miles. Camelback Mountain Adventures is also nearby for year-round mountain fun. The community outdoor pool is closed for the season.

GETTING AROUND
Plan on driving: the attractions we list are about 4.7 to 8.1 miles from the house. Park in the driveway only, with room for up to 13 vehicles, and display the association-issued vehicle ID the community requires. The speed limit inside Emerald Lakes is 25 MPH.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Security cameras: exterior cameras cover the front door and the driveway.
- The private pool is open May 18 to October 1 only; fall and winter stays have no pool.
- The entertainment level is downstairs and bedrooms 3 and 4 are upstairs.
- Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM, a community rule.
- Park in the driveway only (up to 13 vehicles); parking elsewhere can bring a community fine.
- Pets by prior approval only, never on furniture, beds or in the pool or hot tub.
- Check-in 4 PM, check-out 10 AM.
- Please note that the yard is seeded and does not have fully established grass yet.
- Please be aware that a Burn Ban may be announced at any time by the community. While the fire pit is one of the highlights of this property, all burn ban regulations must be followed strictly. Failure to comply may result in community fines, which will be the guest’s responsibility. We will keep you informed in real time if any such announcements occur during your stay.
-Seasonal Watercraft Availability: Kayaks and other watercraft are available for guest use seasonally and may not be available during the colder months.
- You need Emerald Lakes amenity passes to use the community amenities. Passes can be purchased online using your cell phone. After your booking is confirmed, we will send you a QR code with a link to the app.
- Amenity pass fees (current as of March 2025): $20 for a 1-day pass, $30 for a 3-day pass, or $50 for a 7-day pass. These fees are not included in your booking. Passes can be purchased through the app or at the welcome desk. Children 2 and under are free.
- You may rent a boat or bring your own for fishing on the lake. Guests bringing their own boat will be required to pay a $15 registration fee. Please note that only electric boats are permitted; gas-powered motors are not allowed.
- The lake is home to bass and other fish. A Pennsylvania fishing license is required, which costs approximately $30. Licenses can be obtained through the PA Fish & Boat Commission website. Catch and release only.
- For VRBO or direct bookings, please note that even if a cancellation qualifies under the applicable cancellation policy, the 10% payment processing fee is non-refundable. This fee is charged by external payment processors such as Stripe and is not refunded to us.
- The booking party must be at least 25 years old and must be present at the home throughout the stay.
